DCOs A and B both provide a choice of square (with variable width) triangle and saw waves, while DCO B add extra noise. OSCILLATOR the module provides 6 voice polyphony with 2 DCO oscillator each called A and B based on Curtis all-in one Cem 3396 Wave-Shaper x2 - VCF,VCA also fitted into the matrix 6 series from oberheim (but narrow models). The rear panel also more than basic consisting of MIDI In, Out and Thru sockets and a single audio output jack. Patch and Performance parameters are identified by number written on the rack. OVERVIEW single rackmount Midi module with basic numeric display (too basic for serious edit) and front-panel operation is quite straightforward (and awkward!) eight-button numeric keypad, value +/- buttons and Bank and Edit select buttons.
